Galotrax 300
The Galotrax 300 is the historic and essential self-propelled tracked vehicle in our range. The first of the Plaisance brand, it is still the right compromise between power and performance. Its compact size and powerful engine enable it to work on more difficult terrain and harder materials than the GX 250H.
The Galotrax 300 is equipped with the BF 501R-2000 forestry mulcher. This mulcher is reinforced with High Elastic Limit steel and HARDOX®, metals that combine strength and lightness. The ski pads are adjustable in 3 positions. As a result, the working height can be adjusted and the useful power maintained. It’s ideal for maintaining hunting lines, cleaning under power lines, near gas pipelines or railroads. This model is in stage 3 to be marketed specifically for export to countries not subject to regulations.

The Plaisance forestry mulcher
Even if you can adapt all types of mulchers, the forestry mulcher remains the flagship product attached to our self-propelled machines. The rotor is fitted with a wire guard, bolted shafts and side teeth to prevent deposit build-up. Our teeth are all fixed with single or double carbide tips and welded in a helical V-shape. As a result, chipper effort is minimized and residues are finely ground. Plaisance forestry mulchers are renowned for their robustness and performance.
