The Variotrac range includes 5 self-propelled PLAISANCE machines on wheels. Power ratings range from 175 to 440 hp. They are equipped with hydrostatic advance to control working or transport speed.
Our forestry mulchers, stone crushers, ground mulchers, snow blowers and chip blowers can all be adapted to our self-propelled machines. Our Variotracs are easy to move from one site to another, and are efficient on all types of soil thanks to the use of 2 or 4-wheel steering.
PLAISANCE EQUIPEMENTS has developed two series to enable you to work with more powerful yet more economical machines.
The B Series is an exclusive two-speed direct drive system from the engine to the PTO. Thanks to the installation of a torque converter, the power of our self-propelled machines is increased with no need to disengage the clutch. This series is offered on our self-propelled machines with a powerful engine to enhance their robustness and productivity.
Our compact self-propelled machines are equipped with a hydraulic drive system. As a result, the power sent to the mulcher remains constant and stable in the face of the different materials being processed. The rotor maintains its rotation speed for clean, fine results. What’s more, the absence of cardan shafts increases the mulcher’s amplitude for attacking higher trunks.
The weight includes that of the machine and mulcher in working order.
For over 30 years, Plaisance Equipements has been building its self-propelled machines on wheels and tracks, right down to the cab. The PLAISANCE cab is soundproofed, air-conditioned, pressurized and equipped with a high-comfort damping system. You can also add a Webasto to program your machine’s cab heating before you arrive on site.
The responsiveness and efficiency of the Plaisance after-sales service is made possible by the on-site production of all our self-propelled machines and mulchers.
Building in-house means we can react quickly to repairs. Between the customer’s call and our arrival on site, we can respond in less than 48 hours (in mainland France).
